Morgan + Gray | Charleston Engagement

When Morgan and I met to talk about all the fun wedding details for her November wedding, we ended our conversation talking about her engagement session. She mentioned wanting to do them in Charleston, and I just happened to be heading that way earlier this month. So she and Gray rounded out my triple session Charleston day. She sent me a text before her session wanting to know if there was anything she needed to bring or make sure she had with her. I responded with "comfortable shoes to wear when walking to different locations if you're planning on wearing heels." And that was exactly what we did- walked, walked, walked. It was. beautiful spring evening on the downtown Charleston streets. Not too hot and not too cold, just right. We strolled down to Rainbow Row, Legare Street, Tradd Street, Chalmers, Four Corners of Law and the Battery. Scroll down to see a few favorites from their gallery.

I love that Morgan chose a black dress for the first part of their session and a little pop of color for the second part of their session. The black was a stunning contrast with the light and airy historic colors of Charleston. Gray and Morgan were so much fun to capture, and shout out to her mama, for being a trooper with us, carrying all the things we needed. After this day, I know two things are for sure, I absolutely cannot wait to celebrate with Morgan and Gray in November and Charleston just might rival the beach as my favorite place for a session.
