Downtown Charleston has a historical charm that can't be found anywhere else in South Carolina, and it truly comes alive in the spring time. The colors, cobblestone, and stunning window boxes make you feel like you were just dropped into a Southern Living Magazine. So when Madison mentioned doing their engagement session in Charleston, I was thrilled. Madison, affectionately known as "Ma-Ma" in our household, has a special place in my heart and the hearts of my little ones. I couldn't not make it through the week without her. I have been photographing her since her junior year of high school, and then Karson entered her life about two years ago. Each time I have taken their pictures, it is filled with love and laughter. Their engagement session was no different. We started off the morning down around the water and just walked the streets like locals, stopping whenever we found a home or area we loved.
